Air Quality is an important issue in many areas. Improving
indoor air quality and reducing manufacturing emissions into the environment are our goals at Ecosys. Our aim is to provide indoor Air Improvement Systems that produce fresher, cleaner air than 'outside air'. Implementing the recommended solution will not only improve Air Quality but will also lower Energy costs, thereby reducing emissions.

Air quality decreases in the city and even further indoors. Cars, planes and industry all contribute to the two main air pollution problems of photochemical smog and particle pollution. All these consist of increased particulate matter (PM) that decrease air quality.

The majority of Air Conditioning systems use this 'outside air' and most do not treat the air for particulate matter, they only chill or warm the air stream. To treat the air you need filters, as they become clogged with the particulates they require more energy and maintainance, thereby increasing the costs to run. Even HEPA filters (that only work down to 0.35 microns) are not effective for smaller particles. Fine and Ultra-Fine particles are below 0.35 microns and are both respirable.

Molecular Air Purification allows you to recycle more air as you can increase the ratio of 'outside air' to 'indoor air', thereby reduce energy costs.

Particulates are a majot concern and are more fully explained on 'The Particulates' page.
